Kits for those on their periods
What's in a kit?
Our sanitary kits are carefully designed to provide essential hygiene items while also including small touches of kindness and self-care. Each month, we assemble up to 80 sanitary kits with the support of generous donations, volunteers, and partner organisations.
Here’s how it works:
Donations & Contributions – Essential hygiene products and extras are donated by individuals, businesses, and community partners. the 40 project has a small financial fund that directly supports purchasing sanitary items.
Thoughtful Packaging – Our team carefully assembles each kit, ensuring a balance of necessities and uplifting extras.
Distribution to Those in Need – The kits are delivered to Women’s Shelters & Refuge Centres – supporting women escaping domestic violence or homelessness, Community Centres & Outreach Programs – helping those in financial crisis or at risk of hardship and Direct Requests & Street Outreach – ensuring kits reach those who may otherwise go without.
